Every status a contract passes through, who moves it, and where your payment is at each step.
Accepting is not the same as starting
An accepted contract is waiting for the brand's payment. Work begins when the escrow is funded, and not before, because until then there is nothing held for you.
A contract moves through a fixed sequence. Nothing skips a step, and each step says something specific about where your payment is and who is holding it up.
The sequence

The side exits
Rejected. An offer or a pitch that was turned down. Nothing was agreed and no money moved.
Cancelled. Ended before completion. Any escrow that was funded is returned to the brand in full.
Disputed. Reported by either side while the work was live. The money stays held and the automatic release is paused while our team looks at it.
Who can cancel, and when
The rule changes the moment you deliver, because from that point you have earned something.

A brand cannot cancel their way out of work you have delivered. They review it, ask for changes, or report an issue. If you cancel, you forfeit the payment and the brand is refunded in full.
Deliverables
Only you submit, and only while the work is live. A deliverable is a link, an uploaded file, or both, with a note saying what it is.
Only the brand reviews. They approve, or they send it back with feedback, and feedback is required when they do: "no" without a reason is not a review.
Submitting a deliverable does not by itself finish the collaboration. Once everything is in, you mark the work as finished, which formally asks the brand to approve.
The 14 days
Once you mark the work as finished, the brand has 14 days to approve or send it back. If they do neither, the contract completes on its own and the money is released to you.
This is stated in the Terms and it is the same on every contract. It is also why a brand going quiet is an inconvenience rather than a loss.
Usage rights on a contract
The licence is yours to set and the brand cannot change it. It is editable until you mark the work as finished, and locked from then on.
The clock starts at completion, not at signature. A brand that sits on the files for two months has not used up two months of licence.
