Trust matters. Here’s how we protect funds, work, and the rules on ColLabNordic — in plain language.
Secure Escrow Payments
Funds are held securely in escrow once a contract is accepted. Brands fund the contract upfront, and creators get paid when the work is approved (or after the auto-release period).
Platform Integrity
We monitor the platform and take action on Terms of Service violations (fraud, harassment, scams). We do not arbitrate creative or quality disagreements.
Verified Profiles
We verify creators and brands to keep the marketplace professional. Look for the verification badge so you know who you’re working with.
Automatic Payment Release
When a creator requests completion, the brand has 14 days to review and respond (as defined in our Terms of Service). If there’s no response, funds are automatically released. This protects creators from brands going silent.
Important: Deliverables Policy
To protect both parties and ensure fair payment processing, please follow these essential guidelines:
- 1.Submit all deliverables through the platform. Never send final work via email, direct message, or any channel outside ColLabNordic. Deliverables submitted outside the platform cannot be verified and may not be considered in any review.
- 2.Do not use deliverables as a communication channel. The deliverables section is for final work submissions only. Using it for messages, updates, or partial work may inadvertently trigger payment release policies.
- 3.Brands: Review submissions promptly. Once a Creator submits deliverables and requests completion, the 14-day review period begins. Respond within this time to avoid automatic payment release.
Reporting Issues
ColLabNordic provides the platform for brands and creators to collaborate. Most issues are best solved by clear communication in chat. Read our Report Issue Policy for when and how to report an issue.
- Direct resolution: If something isn’t right, explain it clearly in chat and try to agree on next steps.
- Report issue: If you believe there’s a Terms of Service violation (fraud, harassment, illegal content), report it so our team can review.
- Platform review: We review reports only to identify Terms of Service violations. We do not judge creative quality.
- Outcome:
- For Terms of Service violations, we may issue warnings, suspend, or ban accounts.
- For quality or fulfillment disagreements, parties must resolve it themselves. Funds follow the auto-release schedule unless a court order intervenes.
- Fraudulent behavior or gross violation of Terms will result in immediate account suspension.
Cancellation & Refunds
Before Work Begins
If a contract is cancelled before the Creator has started work (no deliverables submitted), the Brand receives a full refund of the escrowed amount.
During Active Work
If work has started and deliverables have been submitted, the creator has earned the payment. ColLabNordic does not issue refunds for creative-quality disagreements. Brands should do due diligence before hiring.
