1Optimizing Your Profile

Your profile is your storefront. Brands often decide in just a few seconds whether they want to work with you. Here’s how to make those seconds count:

  • Professional Headshot: Use a clear, high-quality photo of yourself. Avoid logos or group shots.
  • Clear Bio: State exactly what you do. "UGC Creator specializing in Beauty & Skincare" is better than "Content Creator".
  • Connect Socials: Even if you are a UGC creator (and don't post to your feed), brands want to see your style and authenticity.

2Building a Portfolio

You don't need previous clients to build a portfolio. You just need products and a phone.

The "3-Video" Rule

Upload at least 3 distinct types of videos to show versatility:

  1. Testimonial: Talking to camera about a product benefit.
  2. Unboxing/ASMR: Aesthetic product reveal with good sound.
  3. How-to/Demo: Showing the product in action.

3Winning Pitches

When you apply to campaigns, don’t just say “I can do this.” Show how you’ll help the brand reach their goal.

Template: The Value Pitch

Hi [Brand], I love your [Product] because [Reason]. I see you're targeting [Audience]. I'd love to create a [Video Type] that highlights [Specific Feature] to help drive conversions. Here is a similar video I made: [Link].

4Safety & Payments

Keep conversations on the platform. ColLabNordic protects you with contracts that clearly define deliverables and timelines.

  • Escrow Payments

Funds are secured from the brand before work begins, guaranteeing you get paid for completed work.

  • Fair Mediation

If something goes wrong, we can review the contract and chat history to help clarify what was agreed.
