Custom Requests

Ask a specific creator to price work that is not already covered by one of their packages.

A Custom Request is not an order and it does not contain a price

It asks the creator for an offer. Nothing is agreed and no money moves until you accept the offer and fund the resulting collaboration.

A Custom Request is a brief sent to one creator when their packages do not describe the job you need. You explain the work first; the creator decides whether to take it and what it should cost.

When the option appears

Creators choose whether to receive Custom Requests. If they have enabled the feature, their public profile shows Send a Custom Request. If the action is missing, use one of their packages or contact another creator through a campaign.

You can also return to a creator from My Creators and use Book again to open their profile.

Writing the brief

The form asks for two things.

What you need. Describe the deliverables, where the content will be used, the product or service, required locations or formats, and anything the creator must know before pricing it. The form expects at least a couple of sentences.

Needed by. An optional date that tells the creator when you would like the work delivered.

There is no budget field. Your request describes the job; the creator's reply sets the price.

Where the answer appears

The request is stored under the creator in My Creators, where the creator appears in the Requested view as soon as you send it. Open that creator's history to see the brief and its status. While an offer is open, it is also listed as a task on Home.

Awaiting reply means the creator has not answered yet.

Answered means the creator attached a priced offer. The offer appears on the request with its deliverables, price, delivery date and usage rights.

Declined means the creator chose not to take the job.

An offer answering a Custom Request is delivered inside CollabNordic. It does not create a public share link.

Accepting the offer

Read the priced lines and usage rights before accepting. Accepting creates an unfunded collaboration from exactly what the creator offered. It does not charge your card.

Open the collaboration and fund escrow to start the work. The payment screen shows the creator's price, tax when applicable, the marketplace fee and your total before anything is taken.
