How CollabNordic works

How creators get booked and paid, and what the brand pays

CollabNordic is a marketplace where brands find and book creators, and where the whole collaboration happens in one place: the offer, the agreement, the payment and the delivery. This is how CollabNordic works in practice, for you as a creator and for the brand that wants to book you.

Not an agency

We do not represent anyone and we do not negotiate for anyone. The agreement is made directly between the creator and the brand, and CollabNordic is not a party to it. What we provide is everything around it: the contract, a payment held until the work is delivered, and the tools both sides need along the way.

It also means you decide. You set your prices, you choose which collaborations to accept, and the content you make is yours to agree the use of.

Three ways a collaboration starts

The most common is a package. On your page you list what you offer at a fixed price, say one TikTok video or one UGC photo. A package is always one deliverable at one price. The brand books it with a message and a preferred date, and you accept or decline.

The second is a campaign. The brand writes a brief about what it wants to achieve, and creators reply with an offer: what they will deliver and what it costs. A campaign takes offers for up to 14 days, and the brand then has seven days to choose. After that it closes on its own, so nobody is left waiting for an answer that never comes. See open campaigns.

The third is an offer you send yourself. If you have been talking to a brand somewhere else, you can put together a priced offer in Creator Space and send it as a link. The brand does not need an account to accept and pay.

If no package fits, a brand can also send a custom request and get an offer back at your price.

How CollabNordic works from agreement to payment

Once both sides have said yes, the offer becomes a contract, with the deliverable, the price and the dates on it.

Then the brand pays the full amount. The money is held in escrow by CollabNordic while you work, so you never start a job without the payment already existing.

You deliver in the collaboration on the platform and request completion when everything is in. The brand approves it, or asks for changes and says why. If the brand does not respond within 14 days, the contract completes on its own and the money is paid out to you. A brand that goes quiet is an annoyance, not a problem.

If you disagree, either side can report an issue. The automatic payout then pauses while we look at it. We do not judge taste or creative choices. We look at what was agreed and whether it was delivered.

Payouts go through Stripe to the bank account you connected when you were verified. CollabNordic never stores your bank details.

Finally, you review each other. The reviews show on both profiles and help the next brand and the next creator choose.

What it costs

For creators, CollabNordic is free. Joining, listing packages and being booked cost nothing, and nothing is taken from your payout.

The brand pays a 5 % marketplace fee on top of your price. If you price a package at 100, the brand pays 105 and you receive 100. The fee is worked out on your price only, never on sales tax, and it is the same whether the work came from a package, a campaign or an offer you sent. Pricing has the current number.

If you are registered for VAT or sales tax, you turn it on under Settings, Company. Your rate is then added on top of your price and paid by the brand. Whether you need to register depends on your country and your turnover.

Usage rights

You decide how long the brand can use what you make: organic posting only, a number of months, or no end date, set on the package or on the contract. The period runs from the day the collaboration completes. There is more in Usage rights, in plain terms.

Your page is the link in your bio

Your CollabNordic profile is a booking page with your packages, prices and reviews. Put the link where your email address sits in your bio today. Brands then land on your prices instead of asking in a DM, and the agreement, the payment and the delivery all end up in one place.

Creator Space also has what goes around the jobs: a book of the brands you are talking to, accounts for every job with an export for your accountant, and every payment tied to the contract it came from.
